During the first three days of May we celebrate three holidays.
1 May - Labour Day
May 2 - FLAG DAY STATE
May 3 - NATIONAL DAY OF THE CONSTITUTION

International Labour Day is celebrated for over 100 years 1 May .
In Poland it is a public holiday. They organize festivals, concerts, meetings.


1 May Day we celebrate not only the Work.
1 May 2004 Poland joined the European Union .
This year marks the seventh anniversary of this event.

Polish Flag Day - it is now one of the youngest Polish national holiday celebrated on May 2 since 2004.

May 2, 1945 Polish soldiers year suspended white-red flag in Berlin during the acquisition of this city.

It may be recalled that the Polish national colors come the coat color of the Polish Kingdom and coat of arms Grand Duchy of Lithuania . White comes from the white eagle and white Chase - a knight galloping on horseback. Both of these emblems are on backgrounds of red coats of arms. On the white flag is always on top, because it is more important than the background color of the emblem.

In 1919 years white and red colors were officially state.

May 3, 1791 years Great Diet (Four) adopted the first constitution in modern Europe, and the second after the U.S. in the world.
Constitution is the most important document in the country, stating, inter alia rights and obligations of citizens. The constitution also contains information on the emblem, flag, anthem and the capital of our country.

Adoption of the Constitution holiday has been declared already in 1791, which later, because slavery was a country for a long time on hold. To calendar public holidays in earnest until it was restored 1990.

In a particularly solemn atmosphere of the main celebrations are held Constitution Day on May 3 Castle Square in Warsaw. Accompanied by a military parade and 21 salvos.
