International Children's Book Day April Fools

Today we celebrate the International Day of Books for Children .
This feast is celebrated annually on April 2 on the birthday of the greatest Danish baƛniopisarza - H. Ch. Andersen .

It aims to distribute books for children and promoting reading among children.
Day was established in 1967 by IBBY (International Board on Books for Young People - is an international organization dedicated to children's literature) and was hosted by the other country every year. In Poland, the most that day is celebrated in literary events and festivals organized by libraries, kindergartens, schools, community centers .


It is worth to recall the Polish share reading books "All of Poland Reads to Kids" , which has been going on since 2001, she encouraged parents to read to children daily, as well as adults realize how important a role in shaping the imagination of children meet the reading aloud.
